Cullman County Wranglers has been accepted to participate the Guntersville Christmas Parade.
We are limited to 12 entries, so sign-up is required. In the event too many sign up, a drawing will be held to determine participants. Selected participants will be notified in our Facebook group and via email by December 4th.

All participants should be dropped off at intersection of Scott Street and Blount Avenue (HWY 431N). NO parking will be allowed on Scott Street and Blount Avenue. NO participants are to be dropped off at the Chamber. NO stopping on Gunter Avenue to drop off participants. There will be Rescue Squad members located at Scott Street to direct you to your float.
All entries (except floats) are to line up in the LEFT lane of Gunter Avenue (Hwy 431S). All emergency vehicles are to line up in the RIGHT lane of Gunter Avenue (Hwy 431S). Horses or other live animals are to stage in the Scott Street Parking Lot between Gunter and Blount.
Parade Rules
- Obey all instructions given by parade officials, Lake Guntersville Chamber of Commerce staff, Guntersville Rescue Squad, the Guntersville Police Department, and any and all state and federal traffic laws.
- Obey all laws for the proper operation of a motor vehicle, including, but not limited to, NO drinking of alcoholic beverages or being under the influence of mind-altering substances. MUST provide proof of insurance for each vehicle entered in the parade.
- In exchange for the right to participate in the Guntersville Christmas Parade you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the City of Guntersville, Guntersville Rescue Squad, Guntersville Police Department, and the Lake Guntersville Chamber of Commerce and related entities, all agents, employees and volunteers of said organizations from any claim or expense of whatever kind or nature arising from activities as a parade participant of the undersigned organization and any of its representatives or individual participants. This indemnification and hold harmless agreement shall be governed in all respects under the laws of the State of Alabama.
- NO WEAPONS unless otherwise authorized by state and federal law.
Candy cannot be thrown from parade entries. Someone may walk alongside your float and HAND OUT candy to children. If candy is thrown, you will be banned from the Lake Guntersville Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade in upcoming years. - No political advertising and no projection of political views is allowed.
Entry Size Restrictions: 18 feet wide and 13 feet high. - All motorized and mobile entries including floats will be required to use lights on the front and back (specifically red on the back) for the safety of spectators and participants.
- Entries with minors must be accompanied by at least one adult on either side of the entry.
- A completed and signed registration form is required for all participants in the parade.
- An interval of 50 feet must be maintained between entries. Please maneuver to the side if you are having difficulty maintaining the pace; we cannot have large gaps in the parade procession.
- Your application will be reviewed, and you will receive notification of your acceptance or denial of your entry at least one week prior to the date of the parade. Entries may be excluded or denied entry at the sole discretion of the Lake Guntersville Chamber of Commerce, with or without cause. Any person or entity who attempts to enter the parade once their application is denied will be banned from all future parades.
- Santa Claus and company will be the last float in the parade. This is the ONLY LIVE SANTA allowed in the parade. Elves and other Christmas characters are allowed.
- Proof of insurance is required for all vehicles.
