Arab Christmas Parade

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 7, 2023, 6:00-8:00PM

Cullman County Wranglers has been accepted to participate the Arab Christmas Parade.

We are limited to 12 entries, so sign-up is required. In the event too many sign up, a drawing will be held to determine participants. Selected participants will be notified in our Facebook group and via email by December 4th.

Parade Lineup
Lineup will be at Arab First Baptist Church, Floats will line up on Main Street in the traffic lanes closest to the church lot; Enter from North Main Street. Riding and walking units will line up in the parking lot of the church. Enter the church lot from Guntersville Road

Parade Rules

  • All entries must have a registration form completed and signed. Entries should match the theme of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
  • There is ONE Santa allowed in the parade. He will be on the firetruck at the end of the parade. There must be NO ONE DRESSED AS SANTA with any entry.
  • Lights and music are encouraged for every entry.
  • Drivers must remain with their vehicle at all times!
  • Small children must be accompanied by an adult on a float, car or with a walking group 
  • Lineup will be at First Baptist Church. Floats will be on the street in the traffic lane closest to the church lot; riding units will line up in the parking lot of the church. Riding units: please enter from Hwy 69.
  • Parade will end at Snead State Community College/ Latham’s Drugstore. Do not block parade traffic by stopping in the road. Pull into the parking lots or marked spaces on the sides of Main Street.
  • Four Wheelers will be allowed, but a 5mph speed limit will be strictly enforced. Those that cannot abide by the rules will be asked by the police to depart from the parade route. All four wheels shall remain on the ground at all times.
  • To ensure public safety, NO LIVESTOCK will be allowed in the parade. This policy will be strictly enforced by the Arab Police Department. 
  • To ensure public safety, NO CANDY is to be THROWN from entries, but lightly tossed on the street in front of the parade onlookers or by walking units.
  • Floats must not be taller 14’ from ground.
  • Please have a plan for your group know where to meet and where to pick up! Make sure they know that if they get lost look for a police officer or an individual wearing the orange vests for help.

Parade participant attending and participating in the Arab Christmas Parade does so at participant’s own risk. The Arab Chamber of Commerce, its members, directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any damages arising from personal injury sustained by a parade participant in, on or about the parade route of the Arab Christmas Parade. Parade participant assumes full responsibility for any injuries or damages which may occur to parade participant in, on or about the route of the Arab Christmas Parade and fully and forever releases and discharges the Arab Chamber Of Commerce, its members, directors, officers, employees, and agents and all associated organizations, their owners, employees and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights and actions or causes of action present or future, whether the same be known, anticipated or unanticipated, resulting from or arising out of the parade participant’s participation or intended participation in the Arab Christmas Parade.
